This is an outline of the curriculum development process followed by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium.
Curriculum development is the process of creating, revising, and retiring curricula, courses, and training materials. Curriculum development includes short- and long-term planning, management, evaluation, and administration of the process of producing teaching and learning materials.
The curriculum development process followed by the NAFTC consists of the following phases:
- Phase 1 – Planning
- Phase 2 – Analysis
- Phase 3 – Design
- Phase 4 – Development
- Phase 5 – Implementation
- Phase 6 — Evaluation
